There's a wonderful quote by Elizabeth Zimmerman's in her book, Knitting Without Tears..."Really, all you need to become a good knitter are wool, needles, hands, and slightly below-average intelligence. Ofcourse superior intelligence, such as yours and mine, is an advantage." Well, I definately don't possess the superior intelligence she refers to and there are days I'm not certain I qualify for below-average either! Even though I'm a co-owner here, my knitting is a work in progress and I never thought I would become a knitter with a yarn stash due to my skill set or lack thereof. So imagine my amazement when sorting thru my craft area at home, only to discover multiple projects half started! I counted 8! I'm stunned! The self-indulgence on my part to believe that I actually can keep up with that many projects at one time is mind boggling! So how many projects are in your stash and how do you do it? I don't have a clue what to do with this stash of mine...let alone pick up where I left off and not get confused! Heaven help me! Oh...and does anyone know how to channel Elizabeth Zimmerman?

Elizabeth Zimmermann (August 9, 1910 – November 30, 1999) was a British-born hand knitting teacher and designer. She revolutionized the modern practice of knitting through her books and instructional series on American public television.
